You know I feel bad for Darren Criss, he’s faced with 2 extremes when it comes to people’s opinions about him.
The first extreme is the crazy-ass fucking fangirls who worship the ground he walks on. Having fans is amazing for celebs but a large proportion of Darren’s fangirls are just completely nuts. Most of them are CrissColfer shippers too and they’re resolute in their belief that he’s not straight. I saw this comment on his facebook fan page once, it was in reply to his question “What are you thinking about?” or something. This one fangirl went and said: “You and Chris Colfer having sex”. Honestly wtf?!
The other extreme consists of the anti-Blaine people who transfer their hate for the character onto the actor himself. I don’t see why people do this. Is it that hard for them to realise that Darren is a real person who plays Blaine, a fictional character, in a TV show?! I’ve seen people calling Darren a douche, an asshole and many more horrible names. I’ve seen people saying they want to kill him and that he should go die. So fucking absurd. I don’t ship Klaine and I don’t like Blaine when he’s with Kurt but I love Darren, he’s cute, funny and he seems like a great guy.
I really hope Darren never has to see comments from either of these extremes because the first kind would make him feel incredibly uncomfortable and the second kind is just plain hurtful.
